Though my ferrets will not just lick this up yet, I add it to their food and they are fine with eating it up. I will be putting it in the fridge now, as I just noticed that particular detail. However, it has been in a cooler area and the smell has never changed once! Still as fresh as when we got it! My one cat though will high tail it into the kitchen to try and get this when he hears me trying to dig through things. So I know it's good.
